As long as you don't run from fights and can keep at least two of each of the three main types of Digimon (vaccine/virus/data) at decent levels, you won't really need to grind much, if at all. The massive exp boost from fully equipped PlatinumSukamons is mostly needed for trying to complete the Digidex in a reasonable time frame. --- BK_Sheikah?
