Worked at GEICO for about a year. I HATED that we covered drunk driving accidents, because we still defined them as "accidents" when our insured got wasted and then decided to do stupid shit like drive and make sure their stupid drunk ass was affecting the lives of everyone else around them.

Drunk "accidents" are about as close to an intentional act as your going to get IMO. It's just your own stupidity leading you through to a series of choices that could all be easily avoided with more than a couple of brain cells in your head.

I barely see the difference between someone who goes so out of their way to get drunk and be on the road and dangerous enough to kill someone vs someone who doesn't like someone and doesn't know how to keep their emotions in check and decides to kill that person. Just an end product of being someone to stupid to live to begin with really.
