I guess so, but the reluctant hero at that time seemed almost as cliche. De Evolution posted... But in the movie it doesn't show a conflict for kingship. Aragorn just kinda acts solemn at every mention of being king for no real reason or explanation or whatsoever. It's been a while since I've seen the movies, but the only real scene about that I recall was in Fellowship where Aragorn tells Arwen that he's afraid of being just like Isildur. She then tells him that he has his blood, but he's not Isildur himself. A line which Aragorn says to defend himself in the books.
