It is weird that people are suddenly willing to believe the police, who were caught being negligent at best and complicit at worst, when they say the number of rape victims by Pakistani rape gangs are "sensationalized". I'd be willing to give them the benefit of the doubt if this wasn't the third major rape gang scandal I'd heard about. Yeah, this is far from the only city to have an issue with these migrant grooming gangs. There is another story about one literally on the same as this article trying to refute it. It would be a vast conspiracy if these were all being coordinated by different police departments and local newspapers.
