Her tweet was that he was the only white person she knows of that got the film. not the film, a small part of a character. basically the main character has curly hair and is insecure about it. this is not something a lot of white people will generally pick up on as something that many black women will go through. a white journalist had a conversation with the director and was apparently the only one to have a discussion about the hair the tweet isn't blaming the movie doing poorly on white people being racist, just one character trait that flew over the heads of many white journalists --- ...
