So you do the actual stone cutting or do y'all order the stones and customize them?

We get them shipped to us with the specified size and polished sides, then we add the artwork and lettering.

How much of a pain in the ass is it to have to do the work in the cemetery When it is duel tombstone? I mean, don't y'all have to cart around a lot of equipment?

When adding a final date, finding the one stone it goes onto is the worst part, especially if theres no location given. I had a pickup truck with a compressor, blaster, sand, steel shot, stencil, knives, paint, a drill, epoxy and a generator on it.

As for setting them, we have a cart with a brake and a guy the size of a lineman who does a great job with his helper, but really its mostly leverage. His truck is 6 tons when its empty, with a wheelbarrow, shovels, cart, crowbars, sticks/boards, drill, generator, epoxy, and a crane.

What's the most interesting tombstone you've done?

We did a really big one a few years back with the names of all the people buried at the now defunct mental hospital.

I've designed images for tombstones but the guys like you do the actual carving. I've never seen it done but I respect the work.

Well thank you. Do you happen to live near Elberton, GA?

Nope. Northwest Arkansas.
