Key word there...I'm prettysure the guy has money hidden in off shore and bitcoin/crypto accts...

He can just declare bankruptcy and keep those assets hidden till he gets out.
I've heard the time it takes for your credit to recover after a bankruptcy is...7 years. Imagine that...

It doesn't actually take that long really. My mom filed bankruptcy a few years back and was already getting her credit established again a couple years later

Established, sure. How long till it was back to the peak score before she filed, though?
Obviously, the 7 years is an estimate, will be longer/shorter for each person I'm sure. But that's what I heard it takes. So it's (unfortunately) ironic that this twerp's sentence is exactly that long.
