A small game library and being too soon for their time (internet gaming on dial-up [unless you had high speed and the converter at the time]) were likely other contributing factors.


it's the opposite. piracy caused a surge of dreamcast sales near the end of life and let them continue on longer than they otherwise would have.

people weren't buying DC games with or without piracy. despite the fact that many of them were very well reviewed.

additionally, bleemcast was a PS1 emulator that ran on Dreamcast, not a dreamcast emulator.
