Speaking from experience, there really isn't much a doctor can do unless there's actually something medically wrong with you (which usually isn't the case). For the most part, all they can really do is tell you to eat more food/higher calorie food. And refer you to a nutritionist to help plan that out. But it's up to you to keep it up.
