Topic	Oscars ratings hit an all-time low last night

The Oscars, every year, has just been a circle-jerk of movies nobody actually saw, apart from that one year where Lord of the Rings was just too damn big to ignore anymore. Average Joe TV viewer just doesn't care, and the spectacle of seeing some actor spout off some dumbass political rant has lost its novelty in the age of social media. The rise of Marvel is coincidental with the award given to Heath Ledger as the last award of any real significance given to a superhero movie.
