Trump is doing something completely unprecedented with these open, unscripted bipartisan meetings. Of course, in these scenarios, it's easy to pick apart specific phrases without adding further context. He's trying to bring both sides together to come up with a passable bill, and at times speaks for both sides. If legislation is drafted for voting, I'll mentally revisit the issue at that time.
