Oh, and on the subject of tanking and draft lotteries, have you heard of the Gold Plan? Because it's perfect for anti-tanking. Simply, once a team is eliminated from the playoffs, a new set of standings is created for the teams eliminated. Teams are added only when they are out. Whoever is on top of these standings at the end of the season gets the first overall pick. It definitely doesn't work in the NFL (which is kind of immune to true tanking due to roster sizes), but I think the NHL and NBA should put it in place. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
