I just don't think that a teacher would have enough training to be able to handle themselves in an active shooting scenario, being as even soldiers who are trained specifically for these scenarios sometimes have trouble doing so I don't think people who make this argument take all of the variables into account. They just assume "Oh, this person has a gun, they can easily stop this other person who has a gun" What if a teacher ends up shooting another teacher? Or shoots the wrong student?
