You can probably expect at least a decade out of the PS4 if past gens are anything to go by. So like $40 a year over it's lifespan. Nintendo lifespans are kinda all over the place but you can expect roughly $40 a year over it's life most likely, if not under due to its lower launch price. Let alone if you get one now when the PS4 has gone on sales for less than half of it's launch price. Getting both now would be $550, only $50 more than the Xbox One cost at launch for 2 consoles, with the PS4 being the notably more powerful of the two.
