Idk man, I'm not good at ranking stuff where I like so much of it. I can tell you 5 is easily the worst, distantly followed by Balboa... Then it gets tricky for me. I also have a hard time separating 1 and 2 because I always watched them together as a kid.
If I had to pull a ranking out of my ass right now I'd say 1 > 3 (dat bromance) > 4 > Creed > 2 > Balboa >>> 5 but the only ones I'm solid on are the first being the best and 5 being the worst with Balboa behind it.
It's also hard because I like different ones for different reasons. Like 1, 2, and Creed I think are legitimately great movies. 3 and 4 I love but also because of their cheesiness and not really taking themselves overly seriously. 5 took the cheesiness out of just fun levels and into bad levels. Balboa just pushed the absurdity of the franchise too far. I've also seen it at least 3 times and hardly remember it.
That's all really fair and I totally accept everything you have to say. I may disagree with where you have a couple of things here or there, but I think that's totally reasonable. ---
