The original point of this particular talking point is that it would provide an outlet for deviant obsessive behavior, not anger. Don't act obtuse about these things. Anyway yeah obviously video games breed mass shooters because Japan, North Korea, and China have leading numbers of those, followed by America, Australia, Brazil, Germany, Russia, the UK, etc. At least the ratio of gamers to mass shooters is consistent so that we know this isn't a political strawman to try to get gullible politicians, social scientists, and media to focus on it instead of real solutions to real problems.
