The underlying code is identical, they've just added voice acting (good), a new interface (bad) and modern graphics (ehh...). Hit the Classic button and you've got the game as it was in the DOS era, but with voice acting! The same but better. Sadly, the SE of the first Monkey Island disables voices when you go into classic mode, but there's a mod to rip all the voice files from it and add them to an old DOS copy of SoMI which you can then run through ScummVM. --- The shattered stage is set and there's a role you must fulfil <cite>BlackMageJawa posted [p:896622970] in What are s...
