| eston 02/22/18 1:25:56 PM #18: | I don't think the sentiment is entirely wrong, it's just not quite as simple as pointing your finger and saying this is the definitive cause. Our entertainment media both influences and is influenced by our culture. It is a reflection of who we are. Our violent culture is responsible for our violent shows, movies, games, etc. and at the same time all of those things perpetuate the culture itself. Theres no easy solution to this problem, as it has been a gradual slide lasting decades. I also think it was more or less inevitable for our country to reach this point. --- ...
