Anyone else find it ridiculous people who want to educate little kids are now being expected by gun nuts to learn how to use a gun to kill someone who might show up on their school with a gun. These are not people signing up for the marine corp or the LAPD. They are choosing to be teachers. A field of academia which I feel like so many of these people saying force guns in their hands didn't get enough of in their life.

Since this is about just dropping all the responsibility of these mass shootings on teachers why don't we let teachers across the nation decide if we should focus on gun control or focus on arming teachers?

It's the same logic that people use about only letting people who can be drafted decide on the draft.

And yes before people freak out about the first amendment it's a hypothetical. But I hope people see how ridiculous it is to just think the solution is to thrust guns in the hands of people who chose to give an education to children. It's idiotic and just flat out lazy.
