The one thing that annoyed me about The Mist ending is that when the car ran out of gas they were so quick to jump on the, "lets just kill ourselves cause there's no hope" Seemed like they were pretty determined to stay alive as long as possible before that so I find it hard to believe they would just totally give up right then instead of exploring more possibilities. They weren't really in imminent danger right at that point yet. They were just stranded in the car. It just rings false to me. I do like the concept of that ending though. ---
