I dont understand this meme. Iphones are well known for retaining value when new versions are released because they are supported for many years. Do you actually think your galaxy note 8 will be supported late this year when the galaxy note 9 is out? The galaxy note 5 didnt even last a year before the performance was crippled
It isn't a meme, Apple literally admitted to intentionally slowing the performance of older phones.
Yes, the same happens with android. This is a natutal result of software evolution, not some conspiracy you can use to further your bias.
