Yes and no. Yes to an easy mode and tutorial. No in a sense that the tutorial only covers the basics of the game. It uses D&D rules and youll have to learn what works for the characters in your party and how each can be useful as you go. I started playing as a complete stranger to all of this and although there is a learning curve, Im doing fine.

In short, a bit overwhelming at first, but very fun once you get the hang of it. I would also google the best starting stats for your main character type. I ended up going with a Dwarf Fighter/Cleric.
