You ever notice that how when someone drives drunk and kills someone there's no army of advocates that rush in and say that alcohol doesn't kill people or that cars don't kill people? What's up with that anyways?
Because the drunk driver not the alcohol or car killed them? I know it's perplexing to some, but I've never seen whiskey bottles and unmanned cars go out and beat people to death. It's weird.

Weird how the opposite take on a guns autonomy seems to float around whenever there's a shooting. What's up with that btw? I've never seen "the bottle doesn't kill people, people kill people" but I've constantly seen "guns don't kill people, people kill people."
People do kill people. A gun, unless malfunctioning, doesn't kill people on it's own. Yes, alcohol, cars, guns, knives, bats, scissors, etc can all cause death, but they are just instruments that a human has to choose to use, to cause harm or death to another person. Banning any of these things, is not going to change anything. You have to change people, not things. Though there can be steps to help prevent people in some ways from making these bad decisions and that I am totally behind, be in DUI or guns.
