Over 10k people are killed each year by a drunk driver and over a million are killed by cars.

That one million figure isn't right if he's talking US-only. If you were losing a million people per year that'd be ridiculous.

In any given year there's about 35k vehicle-related fatalities in the US. The over 10k figure for alcohol-related deaths is correct.
