But I don't understand why people are calling it a great film. I think it's actually incredibly mediocre. Like on Rotten Tomatoes, it has a score of 97%, which I don't get at all. But then again, I think the vast majority of Marvel movies are incredibly mediocre. I mean the stuff where people are starting to greet each other based on how they do it in the movie, trying to draw real life parables from wakandan traditions and society, things like that I mean it isn't that these things are unheard of or even bad, but typically I see it relegated to things like yeah, shitty anime or fantasy novels and only a smaller subset of people participate in such an obvious way. the broad acceptance of it just because it is the first time we have had an all black cast is what I find odd so tl;dr racism on my part I suppose --- He would make his mark, if not on this tree, then on that wall; if not with teeth and claws, then with penknife and razor. ...
