Its easy for me to get an ID. I'm fortunately in a position where if i did have to miss a days pay and had to pay 30 bucks for a card I wouldn't be hurt by it. Unfortunately for many people in this country that isn't the case at all. In some cases, you pretty much have to take the whole day off if you're going to the DMV. When I had to renew my driver's license, there was a lady who scheduled her appointment for a certain time online.
