Porn addiction isn't a real thing.
It is something made up by religious extremist groups in an attempt to censor porn. By creating a false narrative that porn is addictive and harmful, it gives them another angle to attack it instead of the usual "because Jesus says so" argument.
All "porn addicts" are self diagnosed and the mere suggestion that an addiction is possible causes them to second guess their behaviors. The fact remains however, that the American Psychiatric Association does not recognize porn addiction as a real diagnosis. "Porn addiction" is a completely fabricated concept, and anyone who promotes it has ulterior motives and is trying to push an anti-sex, pro-censorship, religious agenda. Don't be fooled.
No it is I know people who struggled with it and dialled it down or went cold turkey to save their marriages, I toned it down because I didnt like the compulsion or desensitisation. I know what the agenda is I dont care about any of that stuff or morality I care about control.
There is no porn addiction. If you keep beating meat to porn stars and it is pissing your wife off, that is called lack of self control on your part--not an actual psychiatric diagnosis.
