This girl has more courage in her pinkie finger than all the people who voted for Trump combined.

yeah definately. it sure seems that the older generation has taken a "well theres nothing we can do" approach but for people who have lived with mass shootings their entire life, it's a fight they're willing to take up

She doesn't speak for the younger generation. There's a new wave/movement of young conservatives.

yup, ignorance, self-centeredness and stupidity has found its way to the youth of America but by and large most young people identify as Dem or independent. hell even libertarians have a bigger following than the Republicans (albeit the latter 2 arent a great deal different) but the Republican party is dead/dying

You may likely be right that more of the youth identify as Dem instead of Republican. I think there's truth in the cliche about people turning more conservative with age and wisdom. As far as Independents go, I'm independent and plan on staying that way and I voted Trump.

Anyway, the alt-right is ill-defined but it's largely a youth movement and the left-wing is plenty threatened by that youthful surge. It's bit of a change-up in the political landscape. The point is that, your personal opinions aside, this isn't an older generation vs younger generation struggle.
