Ahh yes as we know much of Europe is just authoritarian dictatorships
in this day and age much of it isnt like you might think. theres no tanks rolling down the streets or armed guards on street corners (well for the most part). instead you start to see mundane laws being heavily in-forced with politeness and smiles. telling people what they can or cant say. how they can stand up for them selves and how they cant. what they can own and what they shouldnt (and i dont mean extreme examples either). it always starts small to the point that most may not realize it until they run into it and are heavily punished for it. the UK is a great example of this. saying racist things or even just heavily disagreeing with a certain religion can potentially put you in jail longer than a pedophile would be. having normal items needing to have ID's for. defending your self with a firearm in most cases is a punishable offense or even with other types of weapons outside of your bare hands since those items are used for specific purposes only.

it always starts small and less bombastic and it usually always starts with disarming the populous at the first stage to where the govt. can start seeing what they can enforce. and extremely slowly your rights start to get stripped away.

You've clearly never left the country. Please get out sometime and see more of the world beyond whatever hickville town you live in.
