Although he looks deformed and hes obviously fucked in the head...hes not even senile. Hes sprightly and conniving. Same with Bilbo to a lesser extent - its noted he lived quite a bit longer than normal for a hobbit and his neighbors/friends noted he looked younger than he should have in the lotr. --- I am basically am I.
