My favorite are the ones where you're fighting the boss for a long enough time, and you use all your items on it thinking it's worth it, then you figure out its a scripted boss so you let yourself lose only to find out it wasn't a scripted boss in the first place and you're just garbage so you put the game down for a year while you think about your life.
