I'm pretty sure there's an actual written out version of this somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. The graphic is generally accurate though. If you are a trained cog in a wheel, no authorship, essentially.

That looks reasonable yeah. I don't think everyone at our uni follows that, by far. Some professors are supervisors in name only but will demand co-authorship. Maybe not demand explicitly but e.g., PhD students easily find themselves somewhat pressured to include them.
