Ah, that. It's slightly old news over here.

As a South Korean whose father was a professor in neurobiology for decades, this is hilarious. He's half-dumbfounded and half-furious that something like this could happen.

What kind of dumbasses thought this would be accepted? How could they think this would work? A middle school or high school student authoring a scientific paper? Co-authoring with a parent no less? Seriously? Kids have no place in a paper except a passing mention in the acknowledgements section.

Fire those researchers' asses and put a black mark on each of their names so their careers are finished. People with that kind of stupidity don't deserve to work in science anyway.
