There was initially a small little thing and that small little thing expanded? How did that small little thing get there?

Ok and where did God come from?

If there is a God, then he doesn't play by our rules. He wouldn't need a beginning.

The universe doesn't play by our rules either. In fact we don't have any rules, we just use our flawed perception to try and make some sense of our world around us.

With the presence of a god, nothing has to have rules, because everything would exist at the behest of that god. The only reason everything has a beginning is because a god made it that way. The world outside of earth is infinite because god made it that way. God wouldn't have to have a beginning because God doesn't have to follow the rules, he'd have invented the rules.

But without a god, everything has to have a rule. Things don't happen or appear just because, everything has to have a reason. By arguing otherwise, you're only indicating that there would be a god.

You start off saying god doesn't play by our rules, meaning this deity is capable of things we can't comprehend. But then you go off on your speculation of what god would do and what he did.

"The only reason everything has a beginning is because a god made it that way."

You wouldn't know anyway if god made it that way purposely or not, because you're just a human.

The world outside of earth is infinite because god made it that way
You don't even know how big the universe is, how could you possibly know that it was even made?

God wouldn't have to have a beginning because God doesn't have to follow the rules, he'd have invented the rules.

Maybe he would have to have a beginning maybe he wouldn't. Again you couldn't possibly understand something that beyond our ability.

Name something that happens without a traceable cause, then. I'll wait.

The moment when a radioactive atom emits radiation, the moment and why excited atoms release photons, when an atom will tunnel through an object are all seemingly random phenomena. Your move.
