FBI statistics report that the amount of mass shootings has increased. What if I told you that there are many other types of violence? I don't know where you're going with that but I'm old enough to remember a time when there weren't 2-3 high-profile mass shootings on the nightly news every year. And this is only going back 15-20 years. Those are awful, but even today do you think the number of people killed in mass shootings comes anywhere close to the number of homicides, rape, and violent assault?
