That may be, but again, I don't feel demonized and your point about how they should just tell them to 'fuck off' is still incredibly assinine.

I don't mean to literally tell them to fuck off. I mean put an end to it as professionally as you can. That's pretty rarely going to be literally telling someone to fuck off

Alright, we're just talking in circles at this point

Fair enough, but it's still pointless victim blaming. The fact is that the studio system and many other industries are basically engineered to allow victimization. Even if you could expect a fourteen year old girl to professionally tell her boss "no", you still have a system that laughs off the abuse and a boss who can literally destroy that child's future career on his own personal whim.

You're not going to hear any arguments from me that Hollywood is a fucked up industry. I would never encourage my kids to pursue a career in film

But your point was still that women should just stand up for themselves, which completely ignores the social pressure for them to conform and the mechanisms that are set in place to prevent them from actually succeeding to complain and continue to work.

Hollywood is not a good representation of the american workplace man. And this has bleed out of just being a critique of the entertainment industry.

But it's not even close to the only industry that functions that way.
