Without playing the victim, I have been abused in a relationship and everyone acts like I should just bounce up. I mean Im not depressed in my day to day life but you dont just forget you were emotionally abused. Thats why it is called emotional abuse. It sits with you.

I was first emotionally abused almost a decade ago and it still sits in my head. Since that incident I literally dont trust anyone and what makes me still think like this is that many years later I tried knocking my walls down and ended up with a gold digging psychopath in my life who treated me like horseshit but because I was forcing myself to knock my walls down I endured so much emotional abuse and on one occasion was hit which she then turned into emotional blackmail because it was MY fault now that her arm was sore from hitting me so I now better buy her what she requested or else...

Lets face facts, if I was a woman being abused most would support and understand why I dont date or trust, anymore. But because Im a man, Im told to quit being a wuss and to get over it.
