It should be a requirement in 11B AIT but let's be real, a solid 90% of the Army isn't going to throw another grenade after basic anyways. At most they might get to fire paint rounds out of a M320. It just seems like a real waste of time teaching brand new privates a skill theyll realistically never practice and probably never use again in their entire Army career --- The name is wackyteen* for a reason.
