Even if it takes decades...eventually you might solve the problem. Changing Americas crazy ass gun culture can't happen from one day to the next. But every generation of children that doesn't grow up believing that guns are toys that can be bought at Walmart, will be a generation of kids that won't be as interested in having a gun. Which will in turn lead to less guns in circulation...it will just take time.


You must think everyone lives in New York or Los Angeles. Most gun owners are people who live in rural states where hunting is a past time. You will never deter gun culture because every generation will be exposed to firearms through hunting. The problem isnt access to firearms, its violence in general. And people growing ignorant of firearms only makes the problem worse, not better.
