When Goku and Vegeta take Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and Piccolo outside of Buu somehow he becomes Kid Buu, who Supreme Kai said was the ruthless killing machine and that he was the real monster. And then Kid Buu seems to put up way more of a fight than Super Buu ever did. By right, considering Super Buu absobed Gotenks and Gohan, he should be way above Kid Buu.
