But I think phrasing it this way misrepresents what happened. Back when the Kingdom Come crowdfunding campaign started 4 years ago, a follower of the Medieval People of Color blog noticed that the campaign promised a realistic representation of Bohemia and, on the surface at least, a white-washed cast. This struck the person as incongruous, so they contacted the developers to elaborate on their ambitions, and ask if this was a deliberate choice. Warhorse responded definitively that no, they wouldn't be adding people of color, because they did not exist in Bohemia at the time.
