No one was ever saying that white people don't have bad run-ins with cops, but per capita numbers have always been the point in these arguments. Just because you don't want to acknowledge the truth doesn't mean the truth isn't valid. Why does the left switch back and forth between per capita and raw numbers whenever it's convenient? When talking about welfare recipients, the left uses the fact that white people make up the largest group of recipients (without looking at per capita data) as a way to disparage them. They also do the same thing with mass shootings to try to portray white people as an undesirable element of society.
