I had used my vacation to storm chase, but I went without a car and couldn't get back in time (it was a hurricane that hit in the middle of nowhere), so I ended up staying through two of my shifts until I could get home. I repeated it again with Hurricane Matthew in October, and a few days later I got fired. I had two weeks off leading up to Matthew, so I honestly think they were already planning to fire me, but me nonchalantly going storm chasing again instead of inquiring about my schedule sealed the deal. My life started improving drastically afterward, though, so I don't mind. --- Not a funny joke Dimentio.
