Calorie counting is never a good way to lose weight unless you were way over a normal daily limit. Bodybuilders eat 3-4K calories a day and still drop fat for a show or photo shoot. The trick is manipulating what and how you eat to keep your metabolism up. Calorie deficit leads to starvation, which slows your metabolism down.

Please dont listen to this person. Calories in, calories out is what it comes down to at the end of the day. Watch Fathead and youll see.

Boy no. Counting calories is the most inefficient way to lose weight by far. Its about what you eat, not how much.

Simply not true at all. It can be about what you eat if you have something like diabetes or a metabolic disorder but otherwise calories in calories out. You can eat 4K calories in chicken nuggets or grilled chicken and rice its still 4K calories that has to go somewhere. Talking about a bodybuilder carrying 95% muscle doesnt mean much since they burn far more calories than your average 25ish body fat person.

Finding a diet suited for yourself is more important. I lean keto for instance.
