Stone Tower Temple is my favorite dungeon in the series, I loved the darker tone, and it's the only Zelda game I've played besides Link's Awakening where I actually felt motivated to do all the sidequests - the Bomber's Notebook made it a lot more manageable. It's also one of the few games I've played where I got legitimately captivated by the lore & spent a good hour reading into it online; I remember being particularly interested in the backstory of the butler's son, and how/why Termina was basically a doomed society. The fact that the main villain (or at least the catalyst for the main villain) was a random-ish NPC from from Ocarina of Time was kinda cool, too. Oh yeah, I also like its visual style a lot; I think the N64 Zeldas had the best aesthetic for 3D Zelda, and MM is (obviously) the better-looking one of the two. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
