Star Wars has a niche fan base to begin with. lmao they do. its a large fanbase yes but when content is pumped out as quick as its being right now it'll tend to lose some luster to everyone except that fanbase...and while large it isn't large enough to keep numbers high. You think the general public is going to be as interested in Solo as they were in the first Disney movie? Highly unlikely...it'll be watched mostly by that niche fanbase. I dunno man the MCU has been going on for how many years now and is still pulling in great numbers Because MCU offers a little more variety. People (and when i see people i mean casual fans and general movie-goers) don't see Spiderman and Black Panther as MCU movies...they see them as their own entities. This is just..Star Wars. Another Star Wars movie. You can advertise the different hero movies independently of each other and create hype for each one each time.
