How does a school teacher not have 100% coverage?

100% coverage for everything is practically non existent. Trust me. I have worked retail Pharmacy for over 5 years. Tamiflu has always been expensive for practically every insurance outside of Medicaid. Medicare was excluded from that sentence for a reason.

It went generic recently though didn't it?

Going generic means nothing at the start. Generic prices drop a ton because generics compete with other generics. If there is one generic.. there is no competition. Insurance companies typically only pay for generics so why charge a lot less than the Brand name if insurance only rolls with generic while being the only one available?
