I've got a dozen or so designed in excel, but have never had the money to build one.

some of the more interesting ideas:

all hybrid mana cards (needs another set or two to get to 360. was filled in with cards that have other choices.)
all black cards
all CMC 2 cards

and, my favorite, and the one I'm most likely to actually build soon:

Exactly one card of each mana cost and color identity (that exist in full cycles)
so, only one card that costs say, 2W, 2U, 2B, 2R, 2G. and nothing affecting their CI. There can also be a cycle at that mana cost with devoid. And a cycle at 1WW, etc. and another at 1W, etc.

without the CI rule, it's a little small, that's why I thought to add that distinction. with it, I think it's ~450 with only modern legal cards and a few cycles of dual lands.
