So he didn't stand for North Korea?

Would you?

When they're entering side-by-side with South Korea in a statement of unity, in South Korea? Yes, I would.

I don't know if I would stand if I didn't support that move, which I kinda don't. The two Koreas "putting aside their differences to come together in peace" is a farce that implies they simply have a childish spat with each other about red vs. blue and not that one is literally, without hyperbole, the most evil country to ever exist.

What's the alternative? Wiping out north korea and recolonizing it? No matter what, if there's gonna be a solution, it will need to be peaceful. So why not support any steps towards that end?

You think standing would actually have an impact? Lol

It would show that the US supports the idea of peaceful reunification. Don't underestimate the power of small gestures on the world stage.

North Korea itself doesn't believe in peaceful reunification...

They certainly claim to, actually.
