Arti 02/09/18 10:52:06 PM #18: | 10. What Remains of Edith Finch Giant Sparrow PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC Released April 25, 2017 I played The Unfinished Swan for the first time back in 2016 thanks to the Game of the Month topic here on Board 8, and I liked the storyline and gameplay (as well as its unique control scheme when using a Vita's remote play with the PS4). So, when downloading What Remains of Edith Finch, I expected a good storyline, and got a very good one in response. What Remains of Edith Finch stars the titular character who explores the Finch house, learning about the lives and deaths of her many family members throughout the last five generations. Each person's story is told in a different way, from a comic-book style to a camera session in the wilderness. Each story ends in the death or disappearance of each family member, which Edith records and narrates over the course of the game. I found that while I definitely thought some stories include were well done, some just go off the deep end, like Molly's story. I especially like how both Barbara's and Lewis' stories were told, however, the latter of those two being the true highlight of the game. It was also nice to see the prior game, The Unfinished Swan, get a reference As a final note, that house is the craziest thing ever. Each person has their own bedroom and it is never repurposed, so the house just keeps growing as more people enter the family. The later rooms in the house are built on what is already a really large house just adds to how crazy this game reaches for, but it still works very well and has one of the best stories of 2017. --- insert something about BKSheikah here http://backloggery.com/articuno2001/sig.gif ...
